Does this work outside the EU?

The GDPR applies wherever a company offers goods/services to people in the EU/EEA or the UK (the UK has a closely aligned regime). Many other countries have similar rights.

What if the company ignores me?

If the controller fails to respond within one month, or if you are dissatisfied with how your request is handled, you can lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority under Article 77 GDPR. The letter explicitly reserves that right.

Do you see what I write?
